About oneLake - Our story
In summer 2020, Thomas and Dennis met again after a long time in a small bar in Düsseldorf. From a conversation about their shared time in consulting, the idea emerged to found a company together – with a clear vision: to enable more people in companies to make decisions based on data.
Over many years, we experienced as consultants how differently companies approach their data. Again and again, we encountered the same questions – and just as often, we saw how tedious and fragmented the path to the right answers can be. Different systems, data silos, and complex preparation processes often led to delays and frustration.
This is exactly where oneLake comes in. We want to democratize data access and eliminate bottlenecks in data preparation and provisioning. Our goal is to reduce the requirements backlog and enable companies to make data-driven decisions with ease.
A central element is our AI component oneAgent, which ushers in a new era in dealing with corporate data. oneAgent enables intuitive and efficient use of data – without deep technical knowledge.
